Whatever You Do, Don’t Lose Your Faith
Dear believers, I believe in my heart that God has a word for you today. In the book of Hebrews the eleventh chapter verses twenty three through twenty nine it reads,
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command. 24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in[a] Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.
I want to talk for a few minutes about not losing your faith.
In order to protect your faith you will have to apply biblical techniques as seen throughout scripture. You must first learn to:
#HideIt
(By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.)
Stop Exposing Everything. Resist the urge to share everything before its time.
#SurviveIt FAITH
When you want to give up, when all hell is breaking lose don’t give up! Your faith must survive the fight
(esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in[a] Egypt; for he looked to the reward.)
#DontFearIt
(By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.)
God did not give you a spirit of fear. Don’t be afraid to go after your faith. Go anyways!
#CutIt
Stop holding onto things that prevent your faith from being fruitful. Cut folks, cut things, cut relationships, cut conversations, cut associations, cut everything that exalts itself against the power of God.
